“Excellent little trattoria...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

This is now a favorite in a city devoid of good hotels and restaurants. Where do the people eat and stay, I wonder?

This place is centrally located, unpretentious and serves great value food.

Don't expect a gourmet paradise but do reckon on great service, a warm atmosphere and a delicious complimentary salad bar .

I nightly recommend this place and it s great value!

“An all time favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Ever since I can remember, going to La Trattoria has been a treat for me. I've tried many of their dishes but my favorite by far is the Parmigiana with a side of Fettuccine Alfredo. The Antipasto selection and complimentary salad bar are very good. The restaurant is usually pretty full, so if you want to avoid the wait try to get there early or make a reservation (and be there on time)!
Great food at a fair price!

“Good food a little be noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

We went this night to La Trattoria, food was good and a good price too, perhaps because today is Saturday we have a lot of noise, service are good and people are pending of customers about suggestions.

“OK But not worth a special trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

If you're in the neighborhood, as I was, and looking for an upscale ambiance for lunch, this may be your place as long as you're not picky as to food quality. The food is not as bad here as a few have suggested, but not nearly as good as many claim. I tried the combination plate (lasagne, spaghetti bolognese, and fettucine alfredo). The food arrived barely lukewarm and just not very tasty. I rarely add salt to food, but in this case it helped. The portion was modest but satisfying. The included garlic toast was an unexpected extra. The salad bar (included) was also ordinary, but fresh and the dressings looked house-made. Plates on the salad bar were warm, as was the glass served with my beer. No wines are available by the glass and the bottled wines seemed pricey to me (around $30). At the prime time for a weekday lunch hour (about 3 pm), there was a half-hour wait. The host and server were friendly, and the restaurant has wi-fi.
