I was a bit sceptical about this trip, but it is good value for money. You are greeted by a mariachi band, hop on the comfortable and slow train to the hacienda, more mariachi band and drinks. When you arrive at the hacienda you are in a good humour and the trip has started well. You then tour the extensive facility where tequila is made and hear the story of using agave to make tequila. Lunch is a buffet affair accompanied by some energetic entertainment, then back on the train for more drinks and more mariachi. It was a fun and different trip.
