A great B&B for those who adore art, antiques, architecture and SUNLIGHT. The open-air house has a fountain in the front entrance and huge shady plants that filter beautiful light into the courtyard all day. We spent our honeymoon there, and enjoyed a huge formal breakfast served in the patio. The owner, Paul, is an American who's lived in the area for years and gives a wealth of information about the city and surrounding towns. The house offers a lot of different private niches. You can enjoy cocktails downstairs in the sitting rooms or peer down into the courtyard from the second floor walkway. Loved that the house wasn't marked as a hotel and was located in a great section of town near a local market, the historic district, an art school, and local newspaper. Taxis easy to get. Sweet little restaurants scattered throughout the vicinity. Relaxing, beautiful.
