A good hours drive outside of Guadalajara. The drive gets interesting as you enter the volcano that houses Tequila the town. You see field after field, up and down the sides of the volcano of the Guava, it grows here because the soil is so porous. I found the drive up into the volcano to be as interesting as the little town that grew up here and the fact that all the 70 or so Tequila makers are all located here, The largest is the Jose Cuervo distillery and they offer the best tour thru their facility. If you are a fan of Tequila or your wifes name is Margarita you definetly need to visit this place. It will be a spiritual experience
