We happened upon this restaurant by chance and we were so happy we did! I would describe the food as contemporary Mexican and the menu is very interesting, changes often and is executed beautifully. We were told the seafood was especially good, so that is what we ordered. I had a warm octopus and baby potato salad which was delicious and beautiful. My entree was a saute
filet of snapper on smoked lentils with bacon. Fantastically fresh and cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared a dulce de leche crime brûlée and a delicious cup of coffee. The entire meal was spectacular, the waiters were professionally attentive, friendly and then offered to find the manager of the attached hotel to give us a tour of the premises which include a library filled with amazing books, the lobby with beautiful works of art and antiques, and two adjoining homes of architectural interest, which the developer of the hotel purchased and restored. What a treat! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with an adventurous palate. If we were not already committed to a different hotel, I would stat at the Demetrius--it is gorgeous.k
