Went to Tabarka recently and had a variety of the tapas, as well as the mixed grilled fish for 4 people, which allowed us to try all of their salsas. The tapas were excellent - the cod sweetbreads were unique full of flavour with great texture. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the tapas. The assorted grilled fish plate was good too - a great choice if you have a number of people and want to try their assortment of fresh fish. One item to note about the wine - there are bottles of wine not found in the stores in Guadalajara given the owner imports directly from Spain, so I recommend that you try some of the wines from the restaurant's own bodega. Enjoy! The atmosphere is not exactly fine dining, but the food is not meant to be either - it is home or family style - so if you're looking for white table linens, this is not your place. But for a good meal with friends/family or with business contacts you know well, this is your place. Not pretentious by any stretch of the imagination.
