I just came back from the Feria Internacional de Libro. This is a yearly event in a huge exhibition area. If it's not there, it doesn't exist in Spanish. Chile was the guest of honor this year and participated with a very nice pavilion, lots of books, interesting side activities, talks, etc.
Every editorial house is there, from the most esoteric to the most serious ones.

750,000 people in 8 days. It's the second largest book fair in the world.

“Great place for the FIL”

We've been to the Expo several times over the years to attend the FIL, the annual international book fair. This is a great place for the book fair because of its size, facilities and location.

“The EXPO Guadalajara”

This is a a little short of 120,000 square meters or 1,200,000 square feet of exhibition area. The areas are also suitable for social, sport and corporate events.

With more than 25 years experience they sure know how to organize whatever event, There are plenty of meeting rooms and presentation rooms.

There are cafeterias and restaurants scattered all over. Main EXPO's coming back every year are the Book, The Hardware, Transportation, Furniture EXPO's and much more. Many of this have an International character..

“Great convention center”

Very new, clean, functional, centrally located. A lot of hotels and restaurants from a walking distance.

Always interesting expos going on - just need to see what's this next 10 days - it's furniture, decorating, sports equipment, pet stuff, you name it!
