Good for a quick view of some local curiousities and crafts. A little dusty... not a bright or modern place like many big cities, and no real focus. Fossils, pots, art, a bit of history.
I thought it was a wonderful place. And just keep walking straight down the street and dozens of wonderful little shops and historical fountains and such. There are multiple steps and stairs.
I love both the pre-hispanic bottom floor and the colonial Guad. second floor. Plus the old colonial building itself is marvelous.
This is a great place to visit if you are in Guadalajara, if you are into museums.
They have nice displays, lots of plaques identifying what is being shown and I grew up going to museums a lot and like them.
