“The hostel is in a nice and safe neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

The staff are great. The hostel is in a nice and safe neighborhood and has a relaxed atmosphere.
Wish one could make calls from the hostel. Their just small things that can be taken care of easily to turn this great hostel into an excellent one. Great stay! Stayed longer than planned.
BTW: u can easily pay 40 pesos for a taxi from the hostel to the town center.

Very clean, great showers (always hot!), THREE hangout areas (backyard, biergarten (bar of the hostel) and roof terrace), free pub crawl on Thursday. I felt totally safe and it was really easy to meet people. Also in a great location a few minutes from Chapultepec Ave.

I felt like home from the first moment, this place is in a magic location where you reach the most important landmarks of the city easily, plus, I need to take my hat off to the staff, this guys are the coolest, always available to give directions, to help..... and to party as well!!. The place is cosy, they have this beautiful backyard so green with hammocks and cool music all the time. Dorms are ok, toilets allways clean, paper is allways there, towells are allways there, it seems that they are allways one step ahead, unlike other youth hostels. Congratullations guys keep up the good work!

Kind words!.. We are very glad you found our hostel in a magic location, thats true this is a central area with buses that connect to the rest of the city and the area itself has the best galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc...
We love to have a lot of open areas with a spacious backyard, plants everywhere, and different places to chill out.
Thanks so much for your comment and your preference!

This hostel was a great experience. The place is really nice, you can read a nice book or chill in their beautiful backyard, eat in their restaurant. Its really close to the main restaurant a clubs area but its not loud at all.

Very friendly staff. Complimentary beer on arrival, Great access to local tours and nightly entertainment, the backyard is well landscaped and maintained, the hammocks are really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other backpackers looking for somewhere clean and modern to relax in Guadalajara. Hospedarte Hostel has all the facilities you would need for a good price!

Room Tip: If you are traveling with 3 friends the price for a quad private room ensuite is almost the same tha...

Hostel Hospedarte is a a nice neighborhood, that is two blocks from Chapultepec Ave, which has many bars and restaurants that are open late. There is also a street taco stand two blocks from the hostel. The backyard is great, with hammocks, and well-kept landscaping and a garden. The kitchen is small, but the capacity of the hostel is small too.
one tip: if you use a booking service, check the rate that they put on the registration card. I used Hostelbookers.com, but when i checked in, they put a higher rate on the registration card. When I asked about it, i was given the rate on the hostelbookers.com registration without any hassle, but I wanted to let folks know to check the rate.
I was a little hesitant to stay anywhere but downtown, but this location worked out well. There are multiple bus routes from the hostel to Downtown for about USD $.50 to $1,00, A taxi ride is 30-40 Pesos, or about USD $2.50 - $3.75

Thanks, we appreciate your feedback! We greatly appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed your stay here.
Its the same where you decide to book, the comision you pay will be discounted when you make check out, we recommend to print the booking confirmation and submit it at check-in
Downtown is just 7 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes by bus, we also recommend to walk to downtown as there are a lot of sights to see along the way (30 minutes)
See you soon!!
