“Beautiful House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

I would suggest getting a tour if you really want to know what is in the house and why, but just looking at everything is cool too. The set up is so beautiful!!! One of my favorite places!!! not for toddlers..

“Nice house but rather cluttered and lacking interpretation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

The collection has the hallmarks of a personal selection. It is eclectic, even miscellaneous. Each room is crammed full of things, above all statues of different sorts. However, there is no attempt to contextualise the exhibits either in relation to Brady's life or indeed their own provenance. There are some interesting things in the museum but I left disappointed. An opportunity to tell Brady's story and to explain how and why he collected these artefacts has been missed.

“Wonderful, quirky museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Robert Brady had a fine eye for detail and the museum, his former home, reflects his often humorous style. His collection of Mexican folk art is particularly well curated. I recommend spending enough time to look closely at his collections; the museum is packed with witty vignettes that can be lost in the sheer volume of objects. A tour is not necessary, however English language tours are available by appointment, priced by group not per person (about $30).

“Mexican and Cuernavaca design at its best.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This lovely house is full of history from earth colonial times to the 70's and 80's. It's last owner put a great effort on decorating each room with beautiful antiques and paintings brought from every corner in the world. His great style combines perfectly wall colors, with furniture, and african pieces. Making a mix never seen anywhere else in the world.
If you like decorative arts and Mexican design, this is a great place to visit. There is also a coffe house and film house showing art films every week.

“Beautiful representation of Mexican Art & Style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

The Robert Brady Museum is the epitome of what Mexican style & art are. It is very well preserved and organised. You can stay longer to enjoy the house and the garden. The flowers, the thick rock walls, the pool, colourful rooms, and antiques give you a good idea Cuernavaca's past and present environment.
