My wife and I rented the two bedroom casa perched up the hillside in the woods five minutes (80 steps) above La Ropa beach. If you like fresh air, serenity, birds and wildlife then you'll love Las Piedras. We felt secure even though we were living outdoors in the unlocked compound. Grace, the proprietor, has lived in Zihua for ever and will be able help you. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is sparse and basic, certainly suitable for breakfast. We ate dinner on the beach every night. La Perla was our favorite restaurant.....table on the sandy beach, white table cloth, candle, beautiful sunset and tasty fresh seafood. Need I say anything else?
Tip: Bring a flashlight.
