I shouldn't say it's not good, because it's probably wonderful, but we were disappointed because we didn't even get to try it. We read about the restaurant on TA and stopped by on Christmas Eve afternoon and spoke with the owner and he was wonderful. We asked how late he would be open and he said until 8 PM and that he wasn't sure if he would open for Christmas dinner or not as he needed to talk with his wife who does the cooking. After the wonderful reviews, we got ready after a day visiting the town and the beach and arrived at 7:05 PM and were told that we could not be served as that they were closing right then. We spoke with the same gentleman and he was very apologetic, but we said you told us 8 PM and it's only a few minutes past 7 PM. He again was very apologetic, but we were bummed because we were so looking forward to trying the shrimp with bacon and cheese and the pineapple salsa. So, in the Christmas spirit, we hiked back over to the restaurant on Christmas for dinner to see if they did decide to open and they were closed. Maybe next Zihuat trip, but we were disappointed.
