“La Palapa´s got it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

From the moment we entered La Palapa we were impressed. We were greeted by the friendly hostess and were escorted to a tranquil table with gorgeous views of the pier. This was a delight because it was dark out and we watched the glowing lights change colors, all the while the sound of the waves and rocking fishing boats provided the perfect background music.. The ambiance in La Palapa is complete tranquility; you can´t but feel instantly relaxed. There were two delightful musicians playing live for part of the time we were dining and added further enjoyment to the evening. Despite all of the extras mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, from the warm cheese-filled croissant buns brought to the table to start, to the seared tuna and guava infused dessert. What a gem, La Palapa is!

“Perfect Timing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

On our first full day in PV we had wandered from El Centro all the way South along the beach front. We had found several of the restaurants that had been recommended by a foodie friend. As we neared La Palapa, it began to rain. We ducked into the bar and sat and watched our first PV thunderstorm. It did not let up at all and so we decided to have dinner there as well. It was a grand experience. They had an excellent two man band, great staff, and amazing food...right on the waterfront.

“Relaxation on the Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

Even though we never had Dinner we managed to survive with appetizers and ice cold beer. Our table was on the beach with a white linen table cloth, place settings, water goblets, sun shade and lounge chairs.
If you like Ceviche they have several different styles of which to choose from and will have a style that you will enjoy. The Vallarta style was my favorite and paired well with the Negro Model that I was sipping between dips in the Ocean.
The Waiters will continually attentive to our needs and never allowed our Ice to run out or our Beer for that matter.
We spent 4 days there and we never wanted to leave!

“Fine Dining in Puerta Villarta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

La Palapa was a great dining experience. We had a table on the sand so we could watch the sunset while eating the best meal we had in Puerto Villarta.

“Magical place, delicious food, service phenomenal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

I absolutely love La Palapa..... Jose, Roger, and Christian just to name a few; do a marvelous job of seeing that every aspect of your dining experience is perfection! La Palapa is delicious and enjoyable for every meal of the day... I have eaten there for breakfast, lunch, beach club, and of course dinner.... Any excuse to go to La Palpa is worth it!!! Our entire family loves going to La Pala, in fact my grandparents have been going there for almost 60 years (they even celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at La Palpa).... this restaurant is definitely a gem that will keep you coming back for years!!!
p.s. Wonderful live jazz!!! can't wait to go back
