Went to this quaint town for a few hours. wonderful beach where we sat to watch the ocean and people plus we enjoyed a corona for 26p at Mar Y Sol restaurant. Too many peddlers coming upto you was the only downside. shopped at the flea market so make sure you barter. Everything is priced high for tourists. Be willing to walk away and you will get a counter offer. Smart shop owners had their Saskatchewan rough rider logo'd items to sell us. Our cab driver Angel (young guy who spoke English well) picked us up from the Occidental grand and he waited for us (that was comforting) as they are not allowed to pickup in the community, only drop off. There was 6 of us so we needed a van which costs 230 p one way. Well worth the cab fare. the locals make little money so we tipped well. There was construction going on in the centre so there was a mess everywhere and noise. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, have your own water and snack if you get hungry. We didn't eat there ( headed back for late lunch at hotel) but heard there are many wonderful restaurants. We will back, Adios amigos.
