“Perfect beginning and ending to 3 weeks in PV”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

This was our first time to try this restaurant and the title says it all, first night and last night. Both nights were good, no complaints at all.

It wasn't heavily crowded when we were there, so can't comment on that. Our visit was medium crowded and we had a pleasant experience.

If anybody had Leonardo as their waiter and they are complaining about service, well I just don't know how you could, he is always smiling and he checks on you at just the right time. Actually Jose was great too, as was the owner and other people we talked to. We thought the people were so pleasant and welcoming...that's why we went back before we left PV. We were pampered.

We were asked both times about our meals. Well, they were very good....there is no other way to say it.

The first visit....

I had the Mixed Green Salad for $70 pesos, and the Red Snapper with garlic special and this was a lot of Red Snapper. See my photo of both. The snapper was on a bed of cooked spinach which was flavored with mushrooms and bacon I believe. Whatever....it was tasty both alone and with a bite of fish.

That same night my husband had the Green Chicken Enchilada for $110 pesos, and he mucho liked it. We ordered 1 glass of wine and a Margarita but I don't remember the cost of my Snapper but the entire bill was $445 Pesos before tip.

The second visit...

My husband had the Garlic Mahi Mahi at $145 Pesos and I had the Fettucine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken for $155 pesos. The chicken had wonderful flavor and was tender, and the Fettucine Alfredo was just the way I wanted it, since I hadn't had Fettucine Alfredo in a long time.

So, for some pampering and good food that doesn't break the bank, give it a try.

“Still a top choice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

We are concluding a one month stay in PV and enjoyed all three of our visits to Embarcadero! The setting is tasteful and comfortable, good lighting...real napkins...delicious and hot food...generous servings...outstanding black bean soup...complimentary dessert...refreshing drinks...and the greatest attribute is the server David. This man has one of the most winning smiles one will ever see. He is enthusiastic, provides thorough and gratifying service, skillfully describes the daily special. David makes dining at Embarcadero a true pleasure. Hats off to Kenneth the owner, who also owns the new Old Town Bistro!, We will definitely return!

“Excellent meal and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

We have eaten at many PV restaurants, it is hard to find one with great food and service, Service was prompt, I had a partial view of the kitchen, which had a large staff who were really hustling to get orders out. Tired of seafood, I opted for Chicken Saltimbocca, chicken stuffed with proscuitto, spinach and provolone, came with very tasty mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked vegies and a rich portobello mushroom gravy, definite comfort food. Hubby had grilled jumbo shrimp which he enjoyed. Warm bread which had a very good spread on it before it was grilled was served, excellent home baked bread. We even had complimentary flan. Mains were 195p, total with a beer, a cocktail and 2 glasses of wine came to 595p without tip.

“Meh”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

Very friendly service but the food was bland and over priced. We both had the coconut shrimp and hugely disappointed.

“Great food and excellent service!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Embarcadero has expanded, it was tight & noisy now it is twice the size. Lots of room between the tables, brighter & airier. Visited a couple times in the last 2 weeks, service was excellent.
Now for the food, excellent dinners...the surf & turf special featuring 3 courses is great, the steak is excellent & cooked to order complemented by Jumbo Prawns. The Seafood Trio is our favorite Mahi-Mahi, Octopus & Shrimp are great combo & they even threw in dessert. The pasta was a big hit on our second visit. Wines are reasonably priced......will we be back....YES!
