Food was delicious. Great Caesar salad. The owner was very friendly and concerned that everything was perfect.

“Great Marinated Flank Steak...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

While my bride and I were down in PVR recently, it was recommended to us to try out this restaurant (for great steak / service / ambiance), and were 'absolutely satisfied' / will most defiantly seek this place out on our next trip down to Puerto Vallarta...

“Good experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We and friends ate at the very crowded new Embarcadero last night and had a good experience with the exception of the noise level. It was so LOUD that we had to practically scream at each other! It is in a small area and they need to drape material on the ceiling to absorb the noise. We had made reservations, so in spite of a line waiting to get in, our table was waiting for us which we appreciated right off the bat! Along with regular menu was the daily specials nicely presented on a separate piece of upgraded paper! The four of us had one of the specials for $249 pesos (about $20 US) which was giant prawns in a pineapple sauce, overcooked mushy risotto and vegetables. This also includes a nice salad with a thousand island-like dressing and a dessert which was cheesecake. The regular menu had pastas, hamburgers, steak and Mexican dishes as well. The service was very good, however, our waiter could not get our order wrapped around his brain as we all were asking for risotto instead of rice pilaf!! Finally the owner, Ken, had to intervene. We will return and experience it again. Being a brand new restaurant, I am glad to see they are doing so well.

“Dinner was ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Staff and owner were great and it was a pleasant evening. I had the snapper special and it was ok. The risotto was overcooked. The snapper could have been season with something to bring out favors but was bland in taste- grilled would have been nice. I enjoyed the salad with the delicious dressing that is the owner's own recipe. The cheese cake for dessert was outstanding. All in all it was a nice evening with just an ok dinner.

I was sorry to hear about the risotto being over cooked. We have since then corrected this issue. Regarding the red snapper or any other entrée we offer, simply let the server know if you want it grilled. We can prepare fish or any other entrée the way you like; we simply need to know beforehand. I hope you visit us again in the future.

“Excellent food in a small quaint setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

A fellow gringo on a bus recommended this restaurant - we immediately made a reservation for that evening. Restaurant is not large so reservations are important. Food was great. 3 of our party had seafood that was wonderful. I had a mexican dish that was very nice. Embarcaderos is definetly on our list of PV places to revisit the next time we go.
