“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

I booked this tour for my husband and I prior to leaving and am so glad that I did. It is another attraction not to be missed BUT you need to ensure that the tour company that you use gets you there while the tide is out or you will miss the private beach that you can only get to at that time.

Now, the Islands are a sanctuary and can not be walked on, except for the beach I mentioned before. The Islands have 78 species of birds and are made from volcanic rock. It's also a great location to snorkel and see the fish that surround them.

It's hard to explain the beauty as you can only really see it in person.

“A must do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

We visited a month ago and got our money's worth before we even got to the islands. Dolphins and whales were everywhere. My one piece of advice is go on a smaller tour boat. There were only 5 of us plus our guide and captain...we had the hidden beach to ourselves for about a half hour. Then one of the catamarans came in, and all the tranquility vanished.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

2nd time on a Vallarta Adventures excursion to the islands - would go back again. Best snokeling around PV, great captain and crew very knowledgeable and focused on showing you whales in you're in season (Dec-Feb)

“Not for everyone but great for us”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

This tour (through Vallarta Adventures) is not for everyone but we loved it. We spent the whole day on a boat, spending time around the islands and learning about this beautiful area. There is opportunity to snorkel, kayak, paddle board and take a smaller boat to a beautiful beach off of one of the areas. My favourite part was getting in the smaller boat and going to the beach. We also saw whales and the whales came towards our boat, it was amazing. The staff were amazing but the food wasn't that great (sandwiches).

“Vallarta adventures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

We did a 7 hour trip via Vallarta adventures to the islands. Definitely worth the trip for the private beach and the snorkeling. If I had more money I would have booked a private snorkeling or scuba dive trip to the islands. We spotted lots of whales on the boat ride to and from the islands and lots of bird watching while on the island itself.
