“Incredible Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

My partner and I decided to go to The View restaurant for our last dining experience before heading back home. We were greeted by smiling faces and guided upstairs to be seated at our table. The Landmark Hotel itself is beautiful and modern. We had a quiet intimate table for two overlooking downtown and the bay. Our server, Yury, was wonderful! She explained the menus and was very professional. We shared 3 appetizers and each dish was incredible! Fresh food with excellent presentation. The timing in between each dish was perfect, allowing us to soak up the atmosphre and have a truly relaxing dining experience. To finish off the evening, we shared the pineapple brulee - amazing! Our dinner at The View was the perfect place to share an incredible dinner to cap off another wonderful holiday in Puerto Vallarta!

“Found a wonderful new dining gem in Puerto Vallarta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2011

I had dinner tonight at a new and fabulous restaurant in PV. It's The View at the Landmark Hotel on Aldama and Emilio Carranza in Old Town. A wonderful contemporary building (lots of stairs) and two dining locations with a stupendous view. They gave us some lovely pink ponchos for the evening breeze as the dining is outside. Oscar Galan, the super chef who brought Agave Grill acclaim and then Caio Tres....is commanding a very versitile kitchen. It's a pleasurable mix of gourmet and Asian, you can order from either menu. I had short ribs (no bone) and garlic mashed potatoes, and a mushroom stew.....and we were presented with a gratis Tiramisu Martini as dessert; Vodka, Kahlua, and dark chocolate! Jorge the bartender is generous; Carlos a knowledgeable waiter and lovely young assistants made the evening one of the best since I've returned. It's located in a large contemporary building (hotel, 6 rooms) with a marvelous view of Miragalante's fireworks and cityscape. Haven't seen such personal attention in a long, long time. Reasonable prices and even open for lunch. It's only a couple of blocks from home but up a steep, steep hill. This will NOT be a secret for long.
