“Been to this restaurant 7 times!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

We love this restaurant for many reasons. The authentic cuisine, view from the 3rd floor balcony, service, and reasonable price. Every meal I have had has been fresh and tasty - from the salads to the entrees. I never write reviews, but I feel everyone who visits Puerto Vallarta needs to know about this family owned restaurant. Just ate their last night - watched fireworks from the balcony and had another spectacular meal.

“Great food, Fantastic view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

The food was excellent, the service was first class. 2x1 margaritas were not 1 split into 2, but 2 full size Margaritas, and also not watered down. Will definitely go again.

“Quiet spot, great food and great view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014 via mobile

If you are doing some shopping along the boardwalk and want a meal, this is your spot. The 3rd floor location offers a quiet location with great views. The menu is basic fare but the offerings are very well done. The staff is friendly and do a great job.

“Delicious!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

I went to Viejo Vallarta based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor. I was not disappointed. The Mojitos were refreshing. Fresh salsa, fresh guacamole, tortilla soup, & jumbo shrimp Diablo style were all delicious! And the view of the sunset over Banderas Bay was lovely.

“Third Floor Gem - hard to find but worth the effort!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

We have been vacationing in PV for 30 years but only recently found this unpretentious gem with one of the greatest/spectacular views in all of PV right on the malecon!. You have to walk up three flights of stairs and thru another restaurant (a little funky in its approach) but well worth the climb! The Tortilla Soup is excellent and the chicken mole is to die for. But everything on the menu is amazingly fresh and delicious and the staff is as friendly as can be. This restaurant has been operating in PV for over 40 years -- and that doesn't happen very often, especially down there! Say hello to "Domingo" for us -- the street greeter!
