“FRAUD ALERT !”

We stayed in a studio apartment that was so small we could not both enter at the same time. The bathroom was down the hall. Both rooms had separate keys. We went to a ownership presentation and it was terrible. Lies , Lies, Lies. They didn't provide anything they promised and they hounded us our entire stay. The road to the resort is terrible. The first taxi said he would not take us there because the road was so rough and very winding. We cannot let our friends stay there.

Room Tip: Don't stay there!

Positives: Gorgeous view--it's STUNNING, the suite was spacious and beautiful, polite, friendly, and helpful staff. No direct beach access, but it's just a short taxi ride or free shuttle to the beach where you are taken care of by the staff at The Blue Shrimp, who were also wonderful.

Negatives: Found a cockroach that was half dead in our bedroom, early morning construction which woke us up most mornings, there was somewhat of a sewer smell in the bathroom from the time we began our stay, no services were provided at the pool area (we were told that we were two people of only 8 staying at this resort and it was a slow time--so why we were given a room right next to the construction is beyond me), water pressure was pretty bad (so give yourself some extra time ladies) and the air conditioner in the bedroom is positioned high on the wall above the bed with a bright neon blue light that made it hard to fall sleep unless you have a sleep mask on (which my husband luckily did). The people above us could be heard talking in the morning and at night, not sure if they were inside or outside on their balcony, but they could be heard loud and clear. The shuttle is great to take into town in the morning to walk around the shops and go to the beach but the latest it runs was about 5:30pm, so we took a taxi back most nights which was about 70 pesos.

Overall, this is a beautiful resort with very friendly and accommodating staff. We were not asked to attend any meetings about buying a timeshare or hassled in any way.

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place to visit and we hope to go back some day!

For me, this was the nicest place I have ever stayed. It was a fabulous anniversary getaway for us. We loved the location and the view. Awwwww, the view!!!!!!!! My spouse makes fun of me for getting spoiled while in PV. Yeah....I don't ever want to stay anywhere else when we return.

The customer service was outstanding. I hope people are tipping these guys/gals a lot...they deserve their pay.

Our stay at the Miramar could not have been better. From the moment we arrived by taxi, up the winding hill - the car door was opened and we were welcomed with a cool and refreshing cloth after the long ride from the Marina area. What a welcome change. This property is simply wonderful, quiet, clean and inviting. Located just a short distance south of town we were able to finally feel we were on vacation in our favorite place. Easy to navigate to the pool and roof top restaurant - wherever we looked we could see the shining bay. Miramar is nestled up on a hill at the top of the Concha Chinas /Gringo Gulch residential area. WE will definitely return!

Room Tip: Rooms are amazing and all face Banderas Bay

We love Mexico and have been looking for a spot where we can settle for a month every winter. We wanted a place that offered all the comforts of home only better. We truly found it here. We were staying at another property in town when it was suggested to us that we take a look at this place and consider it for next year. Well we could not wait that long so we booked ourselves into the Grand Miramar immediately. Our 2 bedroom apartment was grand spacious and comfortable. Nothing at all was left out. From the fine linens to the comfortable living room to the dining room and kitchen we thought we had died and gone to heaven. You are so far up in the sky you actually feel like a little bit of heaven. The kitchen was more than fully equipped with high end appliance and granite countertops. Wow! The bathrooms are luxurious to say the least. The patio was large and sunny with great sunset views over the ocean. This spotlessly clean unit had to be more than 1800 square feet. The grounds are beautiful and there is even an infinity pool (one of 4) on the rooftop of the newest tower. The food and service are excellent. We plan on returning next year as did several other couples we met during our stay. In fact we would really like to just move in full time but the kids would wonder why we never came home. We are counting the days to go back.

Room Tip: The rooms we have had were all different but always spotless and beautiful

Where do I start to tell you about what we consider the most fantastic vacation spot in Mexico? The Grand Miramar Resort and Spa offers guests the utmost in amenities and first class service. We recently returned from a multi week stay where we were truly made to feel welcome and at home in our luxury condo style unit. The view from the 7th floor of the new building offered us spectacular views of the city and the ocean as the Miramar is situated way up in the beautiful hills surrounding Vallarta. We also had a private Jacuzzi on our patio. Our walk into town and to the beach was only 15 minutes making the location just perfect. The Miramar also offers free shuttle service to town. The units are very spacious finished using high end materials and are appointed perfectly for a long stay. The apartments are immaculate and daily maid service ensures that they stay that way. Room service and the rooftop restaurant is top notch.
I have to say a few words about the staff. You are treated like a VIP at the Miramar. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart there is a sense you get that you are the most important guest in the world. The staff is gracious and well trained and in typical Mexican style they take pride in being of service to you and often go well beyond expectations and always with a smile. We truly miss these kind and wonderful people. If you want to feel pampered and special in a place that feels like your own condo within a luxury hotel this is the place for you. We will be going back, after all this was our 4th visit.

My husband and I travel extensively yearly and just happened to book a vacation at Grand Miramar Club and Spa Resort. It is by far one of the best resort and vacation experience we have ever had. It is right up there with the Marriott’s and Sheratons. The resort is a paradise tucked away in the mountains. It is 10 minutes away from the noise of downtown and is truly a dream resort. Everything was FIRST CLASS!!!!!!! The resort is brand new and very beautiful. The staff at the resort was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we had an experience that we would never forget. We woke up everyday to a MAGNIFICENT view of the ocean and the mountains from our patio. It was BREATHTAKING!!!!!!! The resort have a beautiful restaurant for dining which we used mostly for dinner. We ordered breakfast and lunch in our suite the days we stayed in to rest. The prices was very reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious. We went swimming in one of the 3 pools at the resort. There is a spa at the resort but we didn’t get a chance to use it this trip. We have already booked 2 weeks for next year. We plan to make this resort one of our yearly trip as well as Hawaii.
