Four charming rooms, three overlooking the town, one at the back with its own larger sitting area, all with balconies; a beautifully prepared breakfast, alternating between Mexican and western; a stunning main sitting area surrounded on two sides by a slim cool-down pool; a roof-top bar overlooking old Puerto Vallarta as well as its stunning icon, the cathedral of Our Lady of Guadaloupe--Casa Amorita has it all. And to top it all off, it has Rita Love, who designed this special 'casa' and along with her staff, manages it perfectly. Rita can organize any activity or special evening out for you and she has binders full of information for you to peruse and decide. The only drawback are the church bells which ring on the quarter hour every day of the year so you need to bring earplugs or use hers which she has so thoughtly provided. We found that closing the doors to our balcony and turning up the A/C and fan worked perfectly and besides, after about 36 hours, we didn't hear them any more. Thanks, Rita, for providing us with such a wonderful sanctuary right in the middle of PV.
