PV doesn't have the water or beaches we see in Cancun, but this was close. The water was fairly clear so snorkelling was fun. There is no coral, but I find many places around the world are like this unless you are diving or in a protected area. We did get to see a ray, many colourful fish, an eel etc.. While there I had two drinks and if I would have had a third I would have had problems walking. We first sat in chairs (no loungers) up on the edge of the beach, but we moved right onto the beach since there was a lot of shade. The beach is nice, but had pieces of metal like parts of a coat hanger sitting around so I picked about five pieces up and put it in a pile. They don't seem to be safety minded. I did go to the cooking class and the chef showed us how to make paella and guacamole dip. The lunch was delicious and after we went to pet a monkey and snake and saw parrots that fly freely about. Cool. I would go back just to enjoy the better water.
