“Beautiful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

We stayed 6 days at Villa Del Palmar which is a beachfront resort on beautiful Banderas Bay. This is a HUGE bay with it being the focal point of being a tourists heaven. You can go snorkling, scuba diving, go on boat cruises and tours, jet skiing, parasailing, hop on a fishing boat and try your luck or just lie on the beach and swim in the warm bay water courtesy of the Pacific ocean. On a clear day, you can see the coastline that stretches for miles along with the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains. If you're lucky enough to have binoculars, (I forgot mine...), the views would be even more stunning. If you go up into the mountains on a bus trip like we did, the bus will stop for incredible views over looking the bay. Have your cameras ready! If you visit Puerto Vallarta or anywhere near, PLEASE see Banderas Bay.

“Beautiful”

Beautiful pretty well describes the bay. This visit we were able to enjoy some whales playing right in front of us as we were enjoying our breakfast on the patio.

“Just like a small village.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Such a cheap, intimate and great place to be. It felt like these places from Italian little villages in which people just gather and have a great evening: large tables and nice conversations.

The Bay of Banderas has much to offer. You can do almost anything you would ever want to in Puerto Vallarta and in the Bay of Banderas. The weather there is perfect.

“Walk your way to a tan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

This is the second largest bay in North America the first I believe is Hudson's Bay Canada. Because it is owned by the federal government it is not private and you can walk forever either way scenic views and the sound of crashing ways is an affordable escape from life. wear sunscreen because after a good long walk you will definately bronze up nicely. If you head North depends where your staying you end up in a little fishing village called Bucerias. Go for brunch or breakfast at Karens there really good and affordable. The beach is patrolled so you feel very safe fun to watch dolphins in the distance. I enjoyed swimming here was great
