The food, wine, and service were fantastic! The restaurant was cozy and relaxing. We'll definitely go back to Casa Naranjo when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

“== very pleasant ==”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

What a joy: very good food and classy service with a smile. Among the best in PV, definitely higher than 16th, I would say top five.
The chef even showed me how to make 'moles'!

“Fantastic place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

They exceed all of my expectations! One of the best places I've eaten at in Puerto Vallarta. Clean, white table clothes, restaurant layout, decor, service, and menu - everything has been thought through. Nice wine selection and the food was very good. Starters - one of us had the smoked salmon carpaccio with a citrus vinaigrette and crushed coriander which was executed with great finesse. The other one had the grilled octopus with a lime and parsley sauce, the octopus was perfectly done and tender. We shared the cold orange cream soup which was refreshing and really well balanced. Entrees - one of us had the citrus glazed salmon on a bed of pasta. First of all, the server asked how I wanted the salmon done - a sign of their sophistication and food knowledge! The salmon came out exactly as I specified and was very good. The other entree was the sea bass in a basil sauce on a bed of julienned vegetables. The fish was delicate and very flavorful.The service was attentive, but not overbearing at all.

Overall, we'll be sure to eat here every time we are in Puerto Vallarta and recommend to anyone visiting!

“Tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Being here in the off season we were the only people in the restaurant and it was a very pleasant and not at all uncomfortable experience. Eduardo's service was excellent. The meal started with a marlin 'turnover', shaped like shark fins, nice presentation and very tasty. I had the crab and pumpkin bisque and my husband had the sauteed octopus appetizer. Both were very good. For entrees I had red snapper with mango sauce and vegetables and my husband had pineneut crusted sea bass with basil sauce - to die for! Easily the star of a very good meal all around.

An amazing restaurant, just 7 years old and family owned. Amazing food, outstanding service, great atmosphere. A really neighbor gem! The cream of orange is delicious! Also had the salmon and it was so tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!! Will certainly return to this restaurant on every visit to PV!
