This was my third time back so that tells you something.
Barcelona is located not far from the Malecon area, a 50 peso cab ride from Old Town.
I went there alone this time, unusual for a tap restaurant, and it turned out fine. Getting there prior to sunset allowed me to get both daytime views and night views accompanied by the always spectacular PV sunsets.
Since I was dining alone I ordered a greek salad and only one tapa, a fantastic daily special salmon. Of course I had their wonderful sangria but the wine list is nice too. If you can go with a group, as I have in the past, it is fun, fun, fun to order all kinds of tapas (small plates) and share with the group.
When you get there there will be a lot of stairs to climb so be prepared for that if it's a problem. Trust me though, the view is worth the effort and the food and service stand toe to toe with the view.
A wonderful evening of dining and relaxing and (for me) a post dinner stroll down to the Malecon to walk it all off. Enjoy!
