“$1 beer on the beach!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

Relaxed two days downtown on the beach drinking $1 beer and snacking on chips and queso. Chose this spot due to reviews on Yelp. Nothing fancy, but a good dive for a snack or lunch or beer!

“Awesome place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013 via mobile

Great for any meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is awesome. Dollar drinks and tons of mixed drinks for cheap. Don't pass by with out getting a dollar pacifico!!

“Great Spot with Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Sweet location right on the water. It was super hot and the waiter brought us two frozen white washclothes. Felt so good. Had Fajitas, guacamole, and some beers so cold there was ice frozen to the bottle.
Only downside was the beach vendors asking to sell stuff literally every 3-4 minutes but the scenery was awesome right in the surf almost and the food was above average. Recommend for sure. Not super expensive. Two meals and four drinks for about $21 dollars.

“Great place to stop and "people watch"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

$1 beers and margaritas, beautiful sunsets, kids frolicking in the surf, hopeful fishermen with their rolled-up lines. What a way to spend an afternoon or evening. We have been here several times the last 2 weeks, and have not tired of it. Yes, there are many vendors. Don't give any eye contact, or if you do, a gentle shake of your head moves them along. It s very slow right now, and they are hurting for business. At least they work for money, so I don't begrudge them.
Try the nachos; they are great! Great, friendly service; and they remember you, and thank you for returning!

“Feet in the sand...a little slice of paradise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

It's hard not to love sitting ocean front, feet in the sand, drinking $1 beers and enjoying yummy onion rings and guacamole. The view can't be beat. Yes, I agree that the vendors were a little aggressive but that's some of the Mexican charm. Just be firm if you aren't Interested in buying anything- if you do want to buy make sure to negotiate! These guys were starting at obscene prices...about quadruple of the flea market. However, I would highly recommend grabbing a chair, a drink and just relax and take it all in!
