“Consistently Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

I have no idea when Denny's became a great restaurant as previous reviewer has alluded to but He/she is right that it is a lot like Denny's, very, very AVERAGE!

“Dennys of Puerto Vallarta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

This actually is a very nice breakfast place...breakfast menu is as extensive as Dennys. Very clean. Polite, efficient service. Many breakfast choices.

Two negatives: after you have placed your order, someone will come around offering you pastries from a basket. They don't tell you that this will incur an extra charge...it isn't much (MXN $8, as I recall, but it would be better if they told you that there would be a charge for anything you select. The other negative is that they do not acccept credit cards.

It is because of these two factors that I did not give a 5-star rating. But otherwise, it really is a great venu.

“It's packed always for a reason.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

This is far from your typical Mexican restaurant. All of the waiters and buss people run around just about all of the time taking care of the guests. They come to your table so many times to make sure you're well taken care of. Fredy is almost always around to make sure the place is buzzing like clockwork. Good consistent food. Good atmosphere. Eat in the 'garden'. ~ Alfredo El Diablito

“Very enjoyable experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

It started with excellent service from our waiter, Lucino. The lunch ( although we had breakfast food) was delicious. We couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. They were even offering 2 for 1 mimosas. What a delightful place. We took the public bus from in front of the Fiesta Americana and it dropped us off in Old Town right at the corner where Fredy Tucan's was located.

We will definitely be back the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta! You must try it. .
