We keep going back to the Inn even though our timeshare properties here (three) have run out. It is hard to find people staying here who haven't been here before - most many times before - and I think that says something about the property. We have sometimes stayed elsewhere in Mazatlan, and the Inn remains our favorite.
We stayed in the Mayan Tower this time, which was a first for us. It is the oldest part of the hotel, but was updated a few years ago, and we found it to be perfect for our needs. It was very quiet, although the Inn seemed very lightly occupied (maybe 30 percent?). Also the small elevator runs very well, and was nice to have since we were on the 4th floor. The TV had been updated to a flatscreen, a nice touch from the older sets, and the beds seemed much more comfortable. The showers were perfect with lots of high-pressure hot water.
The usual things, like the staff, the views from all rooms, the restaurant, and the location are still unbeatable. One thing new from our last visit is the addition of the F.I.S.H Restaurant across the street from the Inn. It quickly became our favorite restaurant, and we managed to eat six meals there in two weeks.
