After spending several weeks at the Casa de Leyendas in Mazatlan, I can enthusiastically recommend this lovely B&B to anyone contemplating a trip to Mexico. The large, airy rooms are beautifully decorated, as is the entire house. A full breakfast is included in your stay, and the food is ample and delicious. The best part is getting to know the owners, Glenn and Sharon. These folks are readily accessible and go out of their way to help with making your stay problem free and lots of fun. From the beautiful rooms, and the free internet service, to the interesting cross section of people you meet at this charming place - I can only say that the Casa de Leyendas is a great home away from home.

As a TripAdvisor Member from Niagara Falls, Canada we are very critical of other B&Bs around the world, and with so many 5* reviews for Casa De Leyendas we just had to check it out for ourselves.
We were impressed with the help that Glenn & Sharon gave us when making our reservation, with inquires about Mazatlan and other accommodations for long stays.

We drove up from Puerto Vallarta with a map Sharon emailed us, it took us right to there front door. We were made to feel at home when Sharon opened the door, our only disappointment was having to leave 3 days later, we were going to stay 2 more days but they were unfortunately FULL.

Congratulations Glenn & Sharon for being excellent hosts and for providing an incredible 5* B&B in Old Mazatlan, Mexico.

Ever have a traveling experience so phenomenal that it is difficult to put into words? Well this is it! My wife and I had never been to Mazatlan and didn't exactly know the best strategy of where to stay. Golden Zone? Historic District? Well, now we've stayed in both and can say that staying with Sharon and Glenn at the Casa de Leyendas is the only way to go. It's like staying in a place you would only dream of at an incredible value of a price. Every room is beautiful and you will find yourself wishing you could decorate half as well as they have here. You will never feel more at ease, more welcome, more relaxed, or more satisfied after breakfast as you will here. They will also take the time to make sure you optimize your vacation time by informing you of the best things to see and do and while in Mazatlan. You will pay way more for much less in the Golden Zone and you'd be much better off spending your whole time here and enjoying the beach which is just steps away. Keep it simple, don't waste time searching on the web through a bunch of other places, book at Casa de Leyendas and enjoy! There is a reason that everyone is giving this a 5 star rating! We'll be back!

After enjoying such a great bed and breakfast with my daughters at Casa de Leyendas last year, I couldn’t wait to return with my husband. And it was even better than I had built it up in my mind.

Sharon, Glenn and their staff have made this an oasis for vacationers. They are in the best location as far as we are concerned - in the heart of beautiful historic Mazatlan, within a short walking distance from Plaza Machado and excellent restaurants and music, the central market and local art and jewelry stores, the spa, the Panama bakery, and only around 10 blocks or so to catch a small local boat to go to Stone Island. Casa de Leyendas is not in the main resort area, “The Gold Zone”, but it is only a 10 minute pulmonia ride away.

Sharon and Glenn have done a wonderful job of restoring this Home of Legends - Casa de Leyendas to a beautiful Mexican bed and breakfast. The bedrooms each have a unique theme and no matter which room you have, you are convinced it is the best! The modern washrooms have spacious showers. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are safes in each room. There are lots of common areas to sit and relax. There is a computer and a phone to use for contacting friends or relatives to make them jealous.

One of the highlights was the new friendships we made with other guests – and with Glenn, Sharon, Mike, Mary, and other staff. Following the always changing, delicious breakfasts we often sat visiting until noon over second cups of coffee. And again in the evening, we laughed, visited, and recounted our day’s experiences over a glass of wine or tequila!

Glenn and Sharon were excellent hosts. They helped us find the best places for margueritas, banana cream pie, silver, taco stands, etc. They booked our tours, our taxis. They went out of their way to make our vacation a special experience.

We are planning a “reunion” with the same guests for next year!!
