“Poor Malecon!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We hadn't been to Mazatlan in many years, and sure didn't expect the crowded Malecon, the limited views of the beach because of all the tacky businesses, and the heavy police presence. In fact, it was a little scary, and we know the area quite well, having traveled there many times through the years. The traffic at night is bumper-to-bumper, and to drive the length of the beach took almost an hour. The police cruise looking for drunks to arrest, while the bars blare techno music and advertise drinks specials. No, thanks.

“Waking and enjoying”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

It was great to breathe the ocean air and also to see so many Mexican people on vacation. Families strolling, surfers riding big waves, cliff divers jumping into the sea. Across the street you can get any kind of food or drink..so lovely

“21 km of relaxation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Doesn's matter if you need to exercise, get to a place or just take the stress off, this is the place. Bikes, rollerblades, skates or your old snikers, you can use what you like. Enjoy a sunrise or a beautiful sunset. My Mazatlán is beautiful and we are proud of our Malecon

“Loved it”

Great spot to stroll or jog. Also, many statues of historical significance are located along the way, so you get a glimpse into the history of Mazatlan, and some of its famous inhabitants.
