Description: Diego's Beach House is an outdoors bar & restaurant that specializes in smoked ribs, grilled steaks and burgers, and fresh local seafood. Sitting right by the ocean, it's perfect for a day at the beach or you can soak in one of the two chilled water tubs. It plays folk and reggae music at day and more modern upbeat music later in the night, the atmosphere is cool and family oriented.

“For the Most Fun, Go to Diego's on Tuesday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Diiego's offers an all you can drink special from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesdays with Brenster singing. Well, we did not show up until after 6:00 PM, but there were many people there who obviously had been drinking. It was so much fun to watch! A group of four middle-aged men jumped into the tub. We thought it was a hot tub, but my husband put his hand in the water on another visit, and it was cold water! Everyone seemed to know each other, and pretty soon they were chanting another man's name to join them. We all had a good time - great food, two-for-one margeritas before 7:00 PM, and fun people to watch.
We especially like the chili nachos - they are tasty and inexpensive. I like the chargrilled shrimp tacos husband likes the fried. Either way, the shrimjjp is great! Try the mango margerita too; refreshing and not too sweet.

“Tuesday special”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Well i had been waiting too long to check this place out. So finally i ventured there last night. Atmosphere was great with good entertainment and great service. However I ordered the rib platter that I had heard so many great reviews about. What a joke! Boiled ribs, with some black grill marks to trick you into thinking they were barbecued. Besides being fatty and cold when served (the side of fries was good), I would venture back here for the atmosphere, music and try to find something better on the menu. No more 2 for 1 rib platters for 160 pesos as i had read here many times before. Just one lousy platter for 169 pesos.

“Interesting and fun”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Grabbed a late night meal here. Very low key. Normally this place is hopping. Waiters are a hoot!

Ribs here were only okay to our taste. Friends had the mahi mahi fish and chips and said they were great. Worth ordering again and an ample serving too.

“Great Location and Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

After several visits to Mazatlan we found another favorite restaurant in Diego's. We had a beautiful ocean view and enjoyed some of the best shrimp in town. They even shared their recipe with me, and brought out the ingredients that were hard for them to translate! We will definitely be back next time.

“Nice place to have a margarita and catch the sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

The Guacamole is not to be missed. It truly is fabulous. The staff is very friendly and the fact that it is right on the beach is very nice.

Overall the prices are reasonable and they are known for the BBQ. It wasn't my favorite place in Mazatlan but I would recommend checking it out.
