“Not what it's cracked up to be”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

Yes, they dive off a cliff...but you'll get hassled for at least 200 pesos and it's not that spectacular. Don't be fooled by the photos. One night they did all the preparation and then climbed down and went home. Catch it...but don't waste time and money on it.

“Great to watch someone do something you would probably never do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2012

The young men who jump to the ocean below are not crazy, they just have discovered a way to make a little money. Okay, maybe they're a little crazy, but what the heck, after you watch one jump, you'll be glad you paid a little so that you wouldn't have to. Enjoy.

“Daredevil divers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

It's pretty amazing to see a person leap from the highest perch in this plaza into the smallest patch of ocean imaginable.Take a look for yourself at what he's aiming for. And while the divers seldom mess, there have been some mishaps over the years. Any one of these lads well deserves whatever tip you care to give him after his daring stunt.

“If You Have Never Seen Cliff Diver, You Need To Go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

No this is not anything like the divers in Acapulco, but it is still dangerous and exciting to see. Keep in mind, if these guys must judge the tides just right to have a successful dive. Yes they do as for a couple of dollars to do this, but I know I would not do it just for the heck of it. But if you are in the area you really should stop and see them. We go to Mazatlan every year, so we usually stop when we see there aren't many people around and have enjoyed it every time. Oh, and by the way, it is not over 600 miles from the city center.
