“fun artsy area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Hard to find for us but lots of artsy stores and less touristy. We stopped and had a beer in a little restaurant and as per normal in Mazatlan the folks could not be nicer and the beer were cold!

Our favorite here is "La Tromoya". More dining choices on weekend evenings with kiosks and fun people watching. Music, theatre, busking.

“Interesting place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

There's a little bit of everything here! We like to go and see how different other cultures are. Many vendors don't speak much English, so it may be a frustrating experience for travelers that aren't conversational in Spanish.

Warning: the (nasty) restrooms aren't free.
