There is a bus to the bottom of the hill but it is much easier to get a pulmonia (an open air taxi unique to Mazatlan). It's about a 20 minute climb up to the one of the highest natural lighthouse locations in the world. It's half dirt trail and half steps. There are stairs on the steeper upper part. You are rewarded with a great view of the city, harbor and nearby Sierra Madre mountains.
