Apparently, not all Riu hotels are created equal! Although listed as a five star resort, I think it should be designated as a 3 star resort.
The Good: Every room is nicely appointed and has an ocean view. The beach is spectacular.
The Bad: The food was not as good as the other Riu resorts we have been to, the liquor was off brands and every dining room was extremely loud. s
The Ugly: The drive from the airport was depressing! The taxi took us through the barrio which was dirty, dusty and every place was covered in graffiti.
