Never having eaten at Portofino we decided to try it a few nights ago. The ocean side location was spectacular, especially with the lights of Manzanillo and the cargo ships waiting to enter the harbour. The inside of the restaurant is like an Italian hall.
The service was good, as was the wine list. There are some creative menu items, particularly the bruschetta. The Sicilian fish was tasty; the pasta marinara was overpriced and underwhelming. The clams in this dish were tiny. Overall, a pretty good experience, but Poco Pazza is much better.
