Tesoro was a wonderful place to stay, the people were so friendly from the time we got there til we left. Lots of activities day and nite. The food was o.k. The breakfast was the best, we usually ate the evening meal out. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily and fridges stocked daily with water and pop. We even got to experience a 4.9 earthquake one morning as we were getting out of bed. The location was great, you could walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, 2 blocks away. The beach was beautiful, you could swim in the ocean and the pool was refreshing as it was 90 every day we were there. We took a city tour with a local bar owner of the Blue Shrimp, hename was Mark, very good and spoke excellent english and he drove SLOW and carefully, we just had to pay him what it was worth, we loaded up the cooler with Cervesa's and had a few along the way. We took the city bus out to ixtapa Island for .35 a person, it was a wild ride though, we took the cab back. Ixtapa island is a day of fun, food, beers, snorkeling, swimming, very nice, except don't expect much of the bathrooms!! We also took the sunset cruise on the Picante, which was well worth the $50 per person, we all had fun on that, took the cab down to Ziwat. on morning, it was hot, one day of that was enough, but alot to see.
We would definitly go back to Ixtapa, much nicer than P.Vallarta and Cabo
