Banyan Tree Cabo is unforgettable. My wife and I stayed 6 nights in Room 606 (pool villa by the rocks). I called ahead to request a villa with sunlight and privacy. Then GM Ricardo (there has since been a change) provided us with the perfect room. We have stayed at both Cabo and Mayakoba. While Mayakoba had better service (everyone remembers you by name) and breakfast (great variety), Cabo provides cleaner and luxurious experience. The view at Cabo is unparalleled. I have to give special recognition to Diego at Saffron. He was very attentive and engaging. The only drawbacks were: 1) we did not really enjoy the nearby beach club (Diamonte) 2) activity options are very expensive (scuba diving, boating, etc.) and 3) food is very expensive. Overall, I would not hesitate to return.
