I must say that reading many of the negative responses to this hotel had me worried at first, but upon arrival until departure, which was a total of 7 days, it was nothing but good times. The staff was very friendly to us, and we had an overall great time at this hotel. We were not on the all inclusive plan, and I would suggest going that route because we ate where we wanted, and drank what we wanted. We were even allowed to bring our own cups down to the pool and were never hassled about having food and drinks in the hotel. Based upon my experience I would have to suggest this hotel for about any crowd, even though there were quite of few spring breakers there during this time.

DON'T STAY HERE! I went down with a group of 5 others and between all of us 3 were drugged by their bartenders, a security guard broke into their room twice and stole $500 and a camera (we caught them all first hand and the managers wouldn't do anything about it when confronted with the evidence). We were also given a room with a defective safe that blinked 666 after a little while and would open by itself. When coming back to the room later that night 4 iPods were stolen out of it. The room next to us also had money stolen from them. We also met someone in the elevator there that had her treo cellphone and charger stolen from her room WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING in it. The food was better at every other hotel we visited during our stay and our rooms were falling apart. The first shower I took in my room my shower head flew off into my face and when i closed the shower door the light cover broke off of the ceiling. Despite telling them everyday from day 1 that our light was out in our room it was never fixed. As you can see it was absolutely horrible. I call it the HOTEL FROM HELL. I have never posted something like this before because frankly, I just don't care that much. But this past week was just so bad for me and they treated all of us so terribly that I am making it my business to never let anyone make the same mistake that my friends and I have. I am even willing to be contacted about this if you have more questions for me at bzurajs@mail.umd.edu. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

I stayed at this hotel and it was a great time. But, I am now trying to warn as many travelers as I can to watch out for what happened to me. I had my cell phone in my carry on bag in my room the whole time I was there. I had it the last day in that bag and when we checked out we were told that if we left our stuff with the Bell hops it would be watched over and perfectly safe. My phone was stolen from my luggage during the time it was with the bell hops. Either one of the employess took it or they let someone go through our bags that did not have the right to do so while it was in their care. They knew what they were looking for because it was small and easy to hide. The portable DVD player was not taken.
I have contacted the hotel and of course, they are denying the whole thing. I have yet to be compensated. Please, DO NOT TRUST their staff. This has been a major headache for me. They really get you because you are in a foreign country and are out of our reach for discipline. BE CAREFUL!

I only stayed here one night because my friend is a reporter doing a story on spring break in Acapulco. This place is spring break central. Only stay here if you are looking for the MTV style spring break experience (beer drinking contests, wet t-shirt contests, etc.). Otherwise, stay away!
