“THIS FORT IS VERY WELL PRESERVED”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

A "MUST SEE" in Acapulco. Nice air conditioned museum inside. Very informative, unexpensive and great place to take pictures of the bay.

“Wonderful Fort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

It is a small museum, but a fairly large fort. There is something here for all ages. i have been here 3 times and always discover something I hadn't noticed. There is a spectacular view of the city from here and a nice but small gift shop.

Take some time to absorb the rich history of the various European nations attempting to colonize Mexico.

“Nice view and informative - and had A/C! :-)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2012

The fort is a nice little musuem, that offers good views over the bay.
The museum is well set out and well labelled, with most wording in spanish and english.
All the rooms are air conditioned as well, which makes it a nice retreat from the heat outside, and lets u take your time reading and absorbing the information.
