This is a very small restaurant and has a limited menu but the food is excellent. We just came back from a short vacation with our teenage children and we all loved this place. We had a delay in our flight and arrived into Acapulco a bit late so we were all tired and hungry. Ika Tako was within walking distance of our hotel and is very casual and is open air. It was perfect for our mood.
Both the food and drink menu are limited but suited us just fine. They had three beer selections available, Corona, Dos Equis and Sol. The waiter brought us about nine different types of sauces for us to dip our chips in. The kids really enjoyed trying each one and figuring out the primary flavors. The favorites were one that was mostly avocado, one that was mostly mango and one which tasted like pina colada. (They also had some with spicy flavors.)
The entrees are mostly grilled fish and vegetables. Our favorite was the shrimp and mushrooms. It was so flavorful and was served with fresh made tortillas.
Portions were on the small side but enough to fill you up. We just wanted more because it tasted so good. The value is excellent.
We liked it so much we went back our last night in Acapulco.
