“Pretty standard - nothing to write home about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

I have been staying here for umpteen number of times over the last 5 years - nothing changes. The breakfast menu has been the same since I remember. The room service menu is very, very limited and you are forced to go out in search of restaurants even if you are alone and want to eat-in. The rooms are neat and clean but the showers need to be upgraded. No satellite TV - so very limited channels. While Mexico is undertaking a drive for people to learn English, very few people in the hotel are able to speak the language. Tiny Gym. Meeting rooms are very small and hardly ever available.
However, there do not seem to be too many other alternatives in Culiacan (except maybe for Lucerna). The other hotels are even worse and more monotonous.

I'm been puzzled about the Fiesta Inn concept for some time. I've been in 12 Fiesta Inn hotels across Mexico and I really don't think they are worth the money. They are too expensive for the type of rooms you get, which are cheap and dull. Their gyms are close to useless, and their restaurants don't offer good food, none of them. These hotels are good enoght for the business traveller that just needs a room, but in mexico you have beeter and much cheaper options, such as express and one hotels.

Room Tip: if you go to Culiacan, stay at the hotel lucerna, it's a much better choice.

Nothing special to say about this hotel, just another business class type, only good thing abut it is well located next to biggest mall in town. Service ok, front desk nice staff and helpful, so was the bell boy. Rooms are spacious with everything u need to rest, i would stay here again if i ever come back to Culiacan and i recommend it as an option but if you want something with nice ammenities and luxury definitely this is not the place for ya. Nice stay though with free wifi

This hotel is located inside the best shopping mall in Culiacan. If you are looking for something at downtown you better consider other options since you have to take a taxi for anywhere else.

The rate if you request it, includes a full bufette breakfast, that is very worthy.

The room is big, confortable and clean.

Fiesta Inn belongs to Group Posadas the main Hotel chain in Mexico, if you are new to the country, you can feel totally sure that this hotel will be better than your expectations.

  • Liked — Modernity, safety, decoration, price value
  • Disliked — Far away of everything but the shopping mall
