“A vacation retreat you will never forget!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

My wife and I have visited this place twice. The first time was five years ago. The most recent visit was last month. On our first visit, we were overwhelmed by the peacefulness of the hotel, with its private lagoon and seclude guest rooms. The service was excellent and the restaurant was superb. The staff was friendly and the owners were personally involved in making all their guests feel like they were being well cared for. Fond memories of our first visit prompted us to make a return visit last month. Five years later, the hotel still delivers the same wonderful experience. In all our travels, we have never encountered such a warm and inviting place. We will not wait another five years to visit again!

If you like being in contact with the nature and forget about all the rest without being lost in the middle of nowhere, this is the perfect place! posada la poza has only 8 huge rooms and probably you will oft enjoy the solitude in the big bothanic garden which ends in the ocean after passing by a beautiful natural lagoon....and you are just 10 min away from todos santos town center! amazing swimming pool, ping pong table, a gym and lot of other details to make the stay even nicer! owners are lovely and staff helpful and kind. We loved it!

My friend Jane and loved this place outside of Todos Santos. Beautiful gardens, so peaceful, sounds of birds and the breaking waves on the shore just a short walk away. The pool was just lovely as we relaxed and swung gently in the hammocks underneath the palms. The owners and staff were just lovely. We could walk for miles on the beach, but note that it is not safe to swim in the ocean here so we drove to a beach about 10 minutes away. The food was perfect and the breakfasts delicious. The rooms just lovely and so private too, plus the beds were incredibly comfortable. Away from the center of town this property is a must if you really want to get away from it all. Thank you so much Heuriq and Lilly I hope to come back soon!

Juerg and Libusche are wonderful hosts at this hideaway luxurious boutique hotel. Gardens and pool area are absolutely beautiful. The property borders the estuary and is full of birds all day long. It is a short walk down the road and over some rocks to the beach (not swimmable due to large surf).
We were welcomed with great hospitality and offers to help and accommodate us in every way.
The main entrance, the dining room and the individual casita rooms are decorated beautifully and include original oil paintings by the hostess, Libusche. Her husband, Jeurg is a very pleasant man and a great chef at their on site restaurant.
The included breakfast is a nice combination of Swiss taste with local fresh Mexican ingredients.
Do not be put off by the bumpy dirt roads to reach the place - the oasis at the end of the road is well worth it.

Five star all the way. My husband and I just loved our stay here and wished it could have been longer. Juerg and Libusche are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make sure you are having a wonderful stay. The rooms overlook the beautiful gardens and lagoon, beyond that is the beach and the Pacific. What a view!!!!!! The lagoon is a bird watchers dream. Take your binoculars. The restaurant is excellent. A mixture of Mexican and Swiss dishes, many of which are prepared, excellently, by Juerg. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Love the sound of the ocean in the distance. Cannot wait to return.

This small boutique hotel is by a lagoon next to the Pacific. One reaches it by dirt roads, but the pathway is adequately marked. The owners are special. I would plan to eat here if you stay. Juerg cooks a Swiss dish or two in addition to the exceptional Mexican food. The gardens behind the hotel are well-kept by Libusche and gorgeous. The rest of the staff was very attentive. The service charge added to the bill was well-earned. The rooms are spacious. As far as I could tell, they all have a terrace and face the ocean.

Room Tip: I believe that all rooms are similarly sized and face the ocean and gardens. The hotel is not handi...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this small and beautifully designed hotel outside Todos Santos. The rooms, only eight of them, are large, comfortable and lovely. The dining is excellent with the owner being the chef! Impressive contemporary art is nicely displayed done by the female half of the owner/couple. She also used her artistic skills in designing and planted an incredible surrounding garden of succulents, cactus and other native plants. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the planting and birdlife! We would highly recommend this hotel and the gracious hosts to anyone.
