“Absoluely a lovely hidden gem and hospitality over the moon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2011

The Todos Santos Inn is truly a hidden gem, I read others felt the same. I wanted something off the beaten path but well appointed and connected to a small Mexican town and away from all the big resorts. The Inn was so welcoming, well taken care of and personal we felt that we were in a dear friends private home. The manager, Francisco extended hospitality that was efficient but kind, helpful but not pushy just downright lovely. Since it was low season we saw him behind the check -in desk, the beautiful bar and the garden pool. Always a smile and a moment to chat and to help us feel connected to town happenings and Mexico- at- large. The pool is small but organic with the gardens, many places to cool down and read or nap. Our room was not huge but with high ceilings felt comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Mosquito netting over bed if you wanted to keep doors open. Which we should have done as the air conditioning didn't work so well and it got stuffy at night. Great art work and furniture everywhere! There is much to do in the town and the Inn is one block off main street and a quick walk to nice shops, restaurants and town center. There was a community fiesta the Saturday evening we were there and the music was loud but didn't bother our sleep. It looked so inviting at the Inn we ate both dinner and breakfast there. The cooking was authentic Mexican cuisine and her sauces were so flavorful and balance, chef's hats off to her! Again, this is a Mexico hidden gem and well worth the trip out from Cabo San Lucas. Thank you John for your attention to detail and for hiring the lovely Francisco.

The inn is beautiful and well-kept, without being sterile or campy. It's a fabulous building that affords privacy, but also has great common areas. The innkeeper is a lovely, helpful man, who treats his staff well. We had a very cozy four days. One caveat, there is some road noise so you might want to request one of the quieter rooms.

It's low on pretention and high on quality.

I have wanted to stay at the Todos Santos Inn for many years. It was one of the reasons I had wanted to visit Todos Santos. Well, I finally had the chance when we decided to go to Baja for our anniversary. It was not disappointing, but had exceeded my expectations. The Inn is highly designed, with attention to detail, beautiful decor. Very comfortable and romantic. Right in the heart of the historic center of town. They also provide a full, authentic breakfast, have a peaceful, lush garden and pool. Very sexy wine bar! Comfortable lounge chairs and even a little table in their library lounge to play chess. It is one of those places where you can just stay in, relax and be happy. The town of Todos Santos is very charming, lots of little galleries and craft shops. There are also some great, chic restaurants in town. The Pacific ocean here is wild and hard to swim in, but the beaches are really nice if you want to take the sun. So if you're looking to swim somewhere tame, I'd suggest taking a trip to the Sea of Cortez and La Paz. Luckily, we did both on our trip. Todos Santos is a unique town - don't miss it. Also, make sure you get insurance if you rent a car and don't drive at night, the roads are not that well-maintained yet, but they are working on them.

We were so lucky to find this hotel as we had nothing booked for that night. Everything about it was perfect. We had a huge room with a 4 poster bed and a bathroom with shower and tub. When we walked outside we were in a lush tropical setting and there's a small but refreshing pool.In the morning there was complimentary coffee or tea right outside the door. We didn't have dinner there but breakfast was very good. Right around the corner there's an internet place which was a bonus for me!

Upon arrival we felt like we were walking into an old Hacienda of the thirties with lush growth surrounding the walks, a small but quaint pool for relaxing and then the enterance to our room. A suite really with a period living room and an elegant bedroom with an enclosed garden and water fountain. Trafic noise was evident but we adapted quickly as any where you are in town, there's traffic noise.

The food at breakfast was very good and refreshingly non-tourista. The bar, La Copa fit right into the 1930's, movie running on the TV and made one feel a part of a larger family. Large and comfortable seating made it easy to hang around for awhile. Dinner at Landis, the restaurant down stairs from the bar, was excellent and Thursday night we had a superb gutarist entertain with great skill and talent. It is our intention to spend more time at The Todas Santos Inn.

Wonderful, spotlessly clean, great location. The price was great and included breakfast. You can walk anywhere in Todos Santos. Super cute.

The Todos Santos Inn is a beautiful retreat in the historic district. It's everything you would want in a downtown hotel; every detail is in place. Dress the part--the proprietor assumed we were there for an open house and greeted us coolly. In fact, we had just checked in and would be staying three nights. We were in sneakers and fleece jackets while others had khakis and pressed shirts.
