the hotel was horrible. it was like a ghost town. a perfect murder place... its reallly cheap, but it is horrible. it only cost 49.99 to stay for one day for 4 people. its terrible i would rather sleep imn my car rather than stay here for one night.

Room Tip: dont stay here

Not surprising that the hotel closed down years ago. New buyers have completely renovated the hotel and, as of April 2012, work is still in progress. The 5th floor, with 48 rooms, is being rented now. The rooms are gorgeus, the lobby is immaculate, modern, lots of granite and marble. The pool with waterfall is outstanding! Paul Corona, the owner, assures us we won't be dsiappointed and we were not. Do give them another try! p.s. Do try the brand new restaurant/bar in the hotel, Tranquilo, overlooking the pool! Prices are very reasonable, American owner and his Mexican wife are great hosts.

place is a dump, ii smells, bathrooms have mildew, you cane hear the other rooms noise, and enjoy the smell of pot, usually a party crowd, if you don't mind all the inconvenience, is fine for 20 or 25 dlls a night, service terrible, attendants look like they hate their job
we saw strange people, like they were doing some illegal business, either drug dealing or prostitution, stay away may be a drug dealers place of business

We did not have a reservation when we arrived in Rosarito. After checking 2 other hotels, we decided to stay at this one because the guy at the desk gave us a discount and we just wanted somewhere to sleep. The hotel was dead, except for the guy at the front desk and another guy who did not have on a uniform. The room did not have an A/C so a fan was brought in. The room was very basic and kind of cramped, the door did not have an extra lock which made us feel very unsafe. The kids piled all their suitcases and bags against the door because they were scared. The parking garage was scary, it was dark and almost empty and I still don't know if there was any damage to the underside of my car from the major scraping going in and out of the garage. They really should fix that. Overall a big disappointment, we would never stay there again.

Stayed 2 night with the family. It was a little cold the first night the second night we requested another blanket. We received it in about 15 min later. The bathroom and bed rooms were clean. Very quiet hotel when the spring brakers are not in town. The food was also good. Good parking area. Guards always on duty

  • Liked — always had quick service
  • Disliked — needed more light in the room

Never ever stay at this hotel. You are better off camping at the beach or sleeping in your car! We went for the weekend and there was NO WATER! which means, toilets that don't flush, hands you can't wash, no shower and an overflowing toilet when 9 hours later they attempted to bring the water back. The shampoo bottles where just that, bottles, no shampoo in them, the towels were gross, old dingy and stained! The bedspreads had cigarette holes all over. We asked for compensation and the "manager" did not know how to handle the situation. I was embarrased for him. Everyone in the hotel was very upset about not having water, and all he could do was yell and say, "you can leave." This would be ideal, but there were no other hotels available. Either way we left and demanded a refund! This hotel really is a dump! The staff is extremely ignorant and have no customer service skills whatsoever!! They just look at you with an "I don't know what to tell you" look.
They lied to incomming customers about the conditions of this dumpster, we made it a point to be very descriptive about the real conditions and many people left. Worst experience ever! You will hate it, do not stay here; although the beach is a few feet away, you will not have a view and after the beach there is no place to wash off because the hotel never has water. Oh, they give you a pass for parking--and you think, wow this is cool. But guess what, there is never any parking and they have you park in this dirt mountain with nails and spikes all over the ground. Yuck!

We checked into the hotel early Friday afternoon for a little family vacation. We thought that the hotel was a little shabby for what we paid for. (old used furniture, and the carpets were FILTHY!!) At approximately 2pm on our second day, the entire hotel lost water, it wasn't restored until 9:30 that night. My husband and I went down to talked to the manager and he basically told us that we would be refunded 50% of the second night's rate AND would have to leave and find OURSELVES another hotel. Due to the weekend, it was impossible to find a new hotal and thus we were forced to stay with our 10 mo. old baby. Once the water was reconnected at 9:30 pm, (8 1/2 hrs later!!) the pressure burst one of the pipes on the toilet tank and flooded the bathroom and large sections of the carpet. Maintenance was called twice for 2 seperate floodings, and the toilet was not fixed, rather the water was shut off resulting in no bathroom. By 3:30 am the stench of urine and feces throughout our room became unbearable and were forced to leave WITH NO REFUND. The worst experience ever!!.

  • Liked — It was available
  • Disliked — Management did not care about the hotle clients, they just wanted to rent a room.
