Heres the 411: I stayed here twice...first time we paid for a ocean room which consisted of your basic room bathroom=regular. second time we paid for a cheaper room and got a more motelish room with a window to look out at nothing. the pros: your in the heart of rosarito b/c you walk downstairs and youre next to clubs and restaurants and in the cravasis is a mini market with cool homemade stuff. the cons: besides from the drive there, this one couple (white ppl) had their rental car stolen from their valet garage! we understood spanish so we overheard the workers saying that they hoped those ppl have auto insurance. also, this place really is for partyers b/c they bump loud music throughout the night. now heres the 411 of the clubs: for $15 you get a wristband for Iggy's for all you can drink! then next door is Papas & Beer i think for $25 cover and u have to pay for drinks which is like $4 each. across the street is senior frogs which sucks. good luck.

Lucky to get a room on the busiest weekend of Spring Break 2005. That's where the good news ends.

1.) Valet parking: Cell phone and charger stolen from the car (and who knows what else...). There is no option to self-park, or at least that's what they told us.
2.) Room we got had no TV and phone.
3.) The music was sooo loud 'til 4 or 5am right next to our room in the 1st floor.
4.) Carpet was stained.
5.) Not enough towels, bathroom paper, etc.
6.) Water (shower) was very hot even with cold water turned on all the way.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

1.) Good choice if you're there to party all night (or most of it). It's in the center of the action. Location is the Best!

2.) Strictly for young-minded people that are there to PARTY!

3.) Check out the babes laying down getting a sun tan in the center quad! HOT!!!

4.) If you speak good SPANISH, USE IT at the front desk when checking in and asking for a rate. We did and we got a $120 rate. The front desk rep told us it would have been $200 had we aproached them in English! *** Remember back in High School, you didn't listen when they told you being Bilingual was a good thing!!! ***

Both my friend and I went down to Rosarito for New Year's 2004. We loved it. The hotel is in the middle of everything so we would just go back to our hotel room to use the bathroom. Security was great. Our car was secure and we liked the fact that bracelets were needed to get into the rooms. The staff was polite. Though the music was loud, it wasn't a problem beause we would just go back to our room after a night of partying. This hotel is not recommended for families but it is great for singles!!!! We liked it so much it is where we will be staying for Memorial Day weekend 2005.

At first I thought it was great, but then I stayed, now keep an open mind in Tiajuana, they have beautiful hotels, much cleaner than Rosarito, and it's only 20 min away, plus half the price, get real this place is ok, if you drunk all the time, and dont mind the oldness, I guess it's ok for the young kids to tear up it shows.

Unless you are going to Cozumel or spending a few grand on going on a huge Mexico vacation, this is a typical Mexican hotel. Every room has an ocean view, and that alone you can't beat. Basic rooms, cool swim up bar, and breakfast. I went AFTER spring break in 2003 so I didn't get the huge rush of juvenile delinquent college students on a drinking binge, although we did our fare share at the hotel and all.....so it was pretty enjoyable. Fresh bottle of water in the rooms daily. Close to the beach, Papas and Beer, and Club Iggy's. Reccommend this one!
