Read a bunch of the other reviews on this site and i HAD to try it. Just came off the Carnival Inspiration cruise, and we had a one day stop in ensenada...i had been there several times but my partner had never been there and i wanted to take her somewhere exciting...
Just as others have said, the taxi ride from the port to Las Canadas is $25/person round trip. We mistakenly rode a $3/person shuttle from the port to another area (where they would sell tours) in downtown ensenada before getting the taxi...but just get a taxi guys! (The taxis weren't available right off the port though on this certain day, which is why we took the shuttle out...we could have easily walked out of the port area and just gotten a taxi on that main strip right there).
Time framing: We left the ship around 9a, began the taxi ride around 9:40a (remember, i took the shuttle, delaying my time), got to Las Canadas around 10:20a...we were finished the canopy tours by 11:40a.
OK ... our taxi guy took us straight to Las Canadas and waited for us to finish the entire thing. We were the only 2 people there, and while there was a sign saying they would only function with a minimum party of 5, they still accepted us. (i'm going to try to upload a picture of this). I should also mention that when we got there, it seemed somewhat deserted, but as soon as we got out of the taxi 3 employees (in bright orange, high school-college aged) approached us to help us out.
We were charged $16/person US Dollars. (Cash..i tried to pay w/ credit card, just to try, but of course :P). Still cheap. It does include 5 ziplines and 5 suspension bridges -- i got to say i'm pretty scared of heights (willing to do roller coasters, but not skydive or free fall) but they kept us pretty secure the entire time -- they wrap you up with all sorts of secure harnesses w/ 3 chains (1 for the zip line, 2 to use for the bridges). I felt quite secure ...and though i was afraid on the first zipline, once i went through it, the other ziplines were a breeze (and VERY fun!).
Now...the suspension bridges are quite scary..they seemed to take FOREVER for me to get through -- but again, you feel safe, having the 2 chains attached to both you harness and the bridge.
I should mention that the itinerary isn't 1 zipline, 1 bridge, 1 zip, ..etc in the pattern.
For those who would like to know, to get ready in advance,
It is like this:
1 zipline (easiest one), 1 bridge (easiest one), 2 ziplines, 4 bridges (starting with the harder ones and ending with an easier one), and finishing with 2 ziplines.
The ziplines/bridges were a lot of fun and we had an employee "spotting" us from the beginning and the end of each attraction we went to. They had great teamwork in making sure we got by ok. Oh, and by the 4th overall bridge i believe they gave us a small water bottle (kirkland brand). Very nice addition. XD
***We also asked the taxi driver to take us to the blowhole...an additional $15/person each was what he charged (same as all the tours when you get off the boat would charge)..and he also took us to the biggest cathedral in the city (Guadalupe) and a great lookout point overlooking the city and the cruiseship :)
We were back at the cruiseship by 3p...it wouldn't sail till 6p. It was a great day.

Just wanted to clarify on some information you posted here for you and for other TripAdvisor members who may read this, the sign you saw at the booth that says the Canopy Tour only operates with a minimum of 5 persons, went away the very same day you visited us. So that rule does not longer apply, the Canopy Tour is open 365 days a Year and there is no minimum of persons to operate it. If one single person visit us willing to live the experience of the Canopy Tour we will make it happen!.
Thanks for your review Oliver!
