“Oustanding sea food on the Malecon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

We had no clue so we copied the orders from the couple next to us. They were locals, thought us amusing, but were most helpful. The Ceviche de Casa is not to be missed - super fresh avocados mixed up with octopus and tuna. I had the yellow tail sashimi, but it was more like a tiradito - the Peruvian version of sashimi with succulent slices of fish in a mildly spicy sauce. I would go back there in a flash and will the next time we visit the Guadalupe valley.

“No room for us =(”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

My husband, kids and mother-in-law were in Ensenada for 5 days and decided to try Muelle 3 on Saturday, July 5th. After searching around the harbor area for quite awhile, we finally found it. We were so excited until we realized that it is quite small and there were no empty tables. We tried to get someone's attention and finally a waiter told us there was an hour wait. We asked if we could leave our name and he told us that you have to stay there if you are going to wait AND they were closing in an hour. He wasn't apologetic either, it was more like we were an annoying him. I guess it's our fault for not coming earlier, but I was really disappointed. If you are going to go, make sure you go early!

“Always great seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

You would think a restaurant on a pier would have very fresh seafood, well Muelle3 will not disappoint you. In fact just behind it is where they bring the mussels in from the boats. Every time we go we enjoy it more and more and so do the other people that flock in. Muelle3 opens at 1PM and can be filled by 1:45 to 2 PM. You feel like your in Belgium when you get the mussels, they are served the same way, with pommes frites. Sashimi and ceviche are fantastic. If you would like something that you don't see everyday ask about the abalone. Not much on the menu that you will not like, including the price, my favorite restaurant in Baja.

“Perfect Lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We have been here quite a few times for lunch and also for oyster slurpping and are never disappointed. The atmosphere is causal, as its located near the fish market, and on the walking dock in the port of Ensenada. The food is consistently on-point, the ceviche is fantastic, with octopus, shrimp and mixed fish combined with peppers, onions, lime and spices. Their calamari is perfectly cooked, not over battered or greasy... and so so fresh. The fish of the day is always fantastic, again, perfectly cooked and as fresh as you can get.... and if you are lucky they will be serving oyster/mescal shooters to either start or finish your meal on a perfect note. They have a great local craft beer selection and a nice variety of local wines. This is a definite lunch staple for us when we bring clients and guests into town and an excellent lunch idea for you cruise shippers... conveniently located right in the port a quick 5 minute walk from the cruise dock!
