“A warm & friendly stay at a great B&B close to Chester.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Our first visit to Chester & surrounding district and we could not have asked for more of Jim, Vanessa & their family. The chilly damp weather was certainly offset by a very warm & friendly greeting and the informality of our stay enabled us to relax immediately.A well equipped & delightfully furnished bedroom was topped with a great bathroom with thick, quality towels & gowns as well as the usual array of soaps. The facilities included coffees, teas, crisps, biscuits apple juice & a decanter of sherry - a nice touch. Breakfast was ordered by us and was just the ticket to send us on our way to explore. (Local meat from the farm) Vanessa even recommnended and booked a table at the local pub (great food and ale).We could not have asked for more from our stay at this B&B which we thought was great value for money and in an ideal location. Thank you Churton Heath Farm!!!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Beech Room - very quiet with a warm comfy bed.

If your looking to stay within 30 miles or so of Chester - don't go anywhere else.
Beautiful Georgian farmhouse - a very warm welcome, from the host and jack Russell. The room i had was large and very comfortable - firm bed, flat screen TV, power shower, Wi-FI, and plenty of room to relax with a desk and two arm chairs, or work and plenty of cupboard space.
There was a great choice of teas and coffees plus complementary sherry.

The breakfast had been given a great build up online and didn't dissapoint - excellent fresh ingredients and quality bacon, sausage and black pudding.

Set in a peaceful location only a few miles forn Chester it would suit families, business people or wandering travelors.

It was a great find - i hate having to drvie up and down the country on business, but sometimes I have to and places like this turn a chore into a delight.

Room Tip: I would guess they are all excellent

We had 2 nights at Churton Heath Farm and there is not a single thing I would change. Vanessa had thought of everything and done it to perfection. The room was just amazing. Beautiful location too. Vanessa also very kindly helped us get a table at a very packed local restaurant which 'didn't have a table'. The meat we took home from the farm's butcher was absoutely gorgeous too.

We stayed at Churton Heath Farm for one night in October 2012 and were delighted and pleasantly surprised at the sheer luxury provided, even down to toothbrushes and toothpaste, which was very handy, as I forgot to pack our own. Every need catered for and a really warm welcome from Vanessa (our host). She even made a reservation on our behalf at the local in the village, which was a delight and the food was great too. Our only dissappointment was that we couldn't stay longer and would most certainly recommend to all our friends and family. Looking forward to a return visit in the not too distant future. If there was anything we could whinge about and it is a very small whinge, we would have preferred bigger sausages at breakfast.

Thanks Vanessa for your welcome & being so helpful for our short stay we really appreciated the early breakfast to set us up for a great day at the graduation ceremony. We had a fantastic day and were very proud of Charlotte. Rooms were immaculate & very comfortable and the goodies provided in the rooms were 5 star!
