Stay there for 4 days with my bf, he chose a room with jacuzzi. great view, I must say. especially in the morning and afternoon, when u can sit and relax and reading on the sun bed, enjoying the sea view. but lack of privacy, as it expose to the path. everybody who's walking or walk up to their room upstair (on the next building) can see/watch. can't really enjoy my "jacuzzi" time.
the room it self is lovely. but both of us doesn't like the quality of the bed. He got back pain every time he woke up. and the stairs, aircon, and some part of the building need serious maintenance. The place looks "tired".
breakfast was awesome, but a bit dissapointed with thai dishes quality they serve for b'fast. the noodles a bit dry, as it cook and left there..
monkeys came on the first day. And we forgot to lock the door, so they came and ruin lots of things, include my medicines. but its pure our fault :p
went to the bar below the library. it says surrounded by aquarium. But got dissapointed. No aquarium or fish. only a dark big glass, and the staff said the house keeping clean up the aquarium :p
anyway the bar it self pretty decent. Some part need serious maintenance attention from the management, like the pillar, some part of the wall, etc. If they want to keep their 5 star.
The food is pricey. But Ao Nang city is close by, u can reach on foot through monkey trails or the beach (if its low tide).
Their staff were really helpful. We check out early morning and they prepare "meal box" for us.
Overall the place and the ambience was so relaxing. But due to lots of stairs, I don't recommend this place to elderly.
It was a good experience tho. But I'll think twice to come back.
If you want the room with jacuzzi, try to avoid first floor of every building. Too close with the pa...
